Descriptions
Short, about 50 words
Junkyard Highway is a car-wrecking incremental game for Windows PC. Traffic drives through a junkyard, and you wreck it in short timed shifts. Every wreck gives scrap, the scrap is sold when the shift ends, and the cash buys upgrades on a skill tree of 267 nodes, from a $1 sledgehammer to a $4.1M electromagnet.
Long description, about 150 words
Junkyard Highway starts small. The first shift lasts 10 seconds in a parking lot with three parked sedans and your bare hands. Five punches wreck a sedan, and the shift sells 1 scrap for $1.
That dollar buys the sledgehammer, the root of a skill tree of 267 nodes in six sectors: Weapons, Vehicles, Traffic, Salvage, Shift and Machines. Every node is bought once. Seventeen vehicle tiers, from the sedan to the armored truck, bring tougher traffic that pays more scrap, and the yard grows from one road to a nine-lane highway.
Six weapons climb from fists and the sledgehammer to a steam hammer, a crane claw, a wrecking ball and an electromagnet that lifts three vehicles and slams them down. Bulldozers charge the traffic, fuel tankers blow up in chains, and police calls fill the road with sirens. Buying everything takes about 7 hours of optimal play.
Both are in the press kit text file too.
